Tales of Lemuria: Gulliver Lens part two Shani felt a little disappointed that the fun had to end...but when Tess sent her a friend request, she felt like the fun wasn't over yet. She waved as Tess logged out, before gripping the Gulliver lens more tightly. Yes...the fun was far from over.... The next day, Shani had just finished beating some Troglodytes and was taking their treasure when she got a beep that Tess had joined the server. She sent a message. Shani: “Heya! Just finishing up a side quest. Wanna meet up? Where you at?” Kira: (Whispering) [I'm in the city, near a coffee shop. Pumpkin Spice! AHHH!!!] She was that type, yes. Tess suggested they meet at Shani's player home, if she had one or wherever the Elf suggested. On her way she remembered the small box the thief had given her the day before and took it out. Not yet. Tales of Lemuria: Gulliver Lens Part One The world needed an escape. People were tired of their lives and wanted something more. People wanted something more than real. The world needed RVR, Real Virtual Reality. The device came quietly with no fanfare during the holiday rush and was marked very cheaply. So cheaply it became the one item every home was sure to have. Like normal VR, it had a headset, but this asked that you sit or lay down before turning it on since it transported you into a central database. A "hub" There you could surf the web, talk with friends, make avatars... Or play a game. Just one game for now, the one developed for it. “Lemuria” It used something called: Atom Creative Engine. Which very few people so far understood. The device was largely an enigma but that didn't stop thousands, then millions, then hundreds of millions from playing it.
